Oh nothing, just hanging out with my new pug pal. I don’t know its name or gender because its owners are asleep. For now I will call it Pug and assume it is genderless.

just did a google image search for ‘queer pug’
HEY BUDDIES! I played in Philly tonight and it was so much fun. The venue was Danger Danger Gallery, which is a multi-story house with two stages (basement and upstairs). They throw some killer DIY shows and I was stoked to be playing there for the first time.
As I loaded in and set up my gear, it dawned on me that there are probably a good many AW fans who don’t regularly attend basement shows. In fact, there were at least three people there who had never seen a show in a basement before. Exciting, right?! I was stoked for them!

don’t be afraid
Really though, I sure do play in a lot of different venues. On this tour alone I’ve hit coffee shops, listening rooms, rock clubs, punk houses, community centers, record stores, gay bars, sports bars, restaurants, and I’ll end it all with a studio session. I honestly can’t tell if the inconsistency is a good or bad thing. Personally I love it. I play differently in different atmospheres. I like the change every night. I also like when I see some of you looking a little out of your element. Heh. Gotta keep you on yr toes!

I made this portrait of you (not really)
Anyway, it’s late so I don’t know if I’m making sense.
I am now in the wonderful home of Sam and Lesha who are friends of my friend Allie Moss and were kind enough to host me tonight. I have a whole beautiful room to myself! #LivingTheDream
I’ll see you all tomorrow in Baltimore at a BOOK STORE called Cyclops.
